Zaman is a call to lightness and simplicity, to try to act without pretense or calculation, to touch childhood. Together, Ilaria and Andrés explore their individual authenticities and the infinite number of relationships that ensue.
Zaman (meaning "time" in Turkish) is a dance and percussion duet. Movement and sound are composed instantaneously. Two independent entities coexist, without looking at each other, they meet in the action of time.
Direct communication between dance and music. How to hear dance, how to see music ? A dynamic of the instant, which leaves room for the appearance of memories in dialogue with what will be the future gesture.

Specificities:
GESTURE
We see gesture as a creator of movement and sound in the space. It is the gesture that is at the origin of all interaction, whether sonic or visual.
We work with archetypal gestures, which reemerge as past memories, like buried memories, and in turn create theatrical actions and characters with which we become familiar.
We question the trace left by the gesture in time and space. How long does it last, what form does it take, is it invisible or not?
PRESENT
We try to practice the direct and profound connection between body and mind, and to anchor action in the present.
For us, being in the present means acting in the instant, taking part in the dance and music, feeling reality as it happens.
ORCHESTRA: dance - music - voice
We seek coherence and organicity between the different fields of expression: movement, sound and voice.
Each expressive tool has its own space and independence, its own moment to declare itself and express its qualities.
We want to distinguish dance and music as two languages, but also question the third language that is created on the basis of the meeting of these two media.
PLAYFUL
Comedy and clown are important and necessary for us to explore an undisclosed part of ourselves.
